Enormous credit to the team today for playing terrific passing football, and for coming back from an utterly undeserved deficit to draw level, and have chances galore for victory.

The game was played in great spirit on both sides, but it’s clear to see the camaraderie in this squad not only helps create numerous easy-on-the-eye attacking moves but digs us out of challenging situations, like today.

Every player is playing their best match every time we play, which is great credit to how willing the lads are to listen and learn. What’s most exciting is that they are learning from each other as they play, with much more communication between players about positioning, time (or lack of), and general helpful instruction during the match...which makes the coaches’ lives so much easier.

Well done to all who played, and well done especially for not letting the disappointment of a losing position get us down. In fact quite the opposite happened, and we fought back with some serious determination and bundles of thoughtful skill. Your lads did themselves proud - once again.
