The weather broke on Sunday but it didn't break the spirits of Scott and Martin's BSJFC U9 Girls.

In the Killinghall 6-a-side Tournament Trophy, our girls took the silver runners up medals after meeting Wetherby in the final.

To get there, our girls beat teams including Pool AFC 4-1 with goals from Holly, Mabel, Margot and Martha B then an excellent 3-0 Semi Final win over Killinghall with a double from Mabel and a strike from Martha B.

Manager Scott was incredibly proud of the girls who never once let the rain dampen their spirits "Second trophy runners up of the season and hoping to go one better next time!"

Holly's mum Sarah added "They were all fantastic! Great to see all the girls having so much fun along the way, too."

Well done girls – you all earned a dry towel and Haribo.
