Just four matches into the new 2025/26 season, Beckwithshaw Saints JFC U10 Girls Team have performed so well, they’ve been promoted to the Harrogate & Craven Junior Girls Football League Under 10s White.

Four successive wins on the bounce, by a minimum margin of three goals, prompted league organisers to review things and promoted Scott, Martin and Sarah’s team from the Green to White League.

Our girls will face tough opposition on their travels in the form of Bramhope, Bedale, Eldwick, Pool and Scotton. This new challenge will, however, help to develop and improve the team even further in terms of their football skills, team spirit and also mentality.

Coach Scott Blease was delighted with the news: “After reaching two tournament finals at the end of last season, it’s great to see the girls increase their performance levels further at the start of the new season. The girls are excited to perform at a higher level and looking forward to the White League fixtures”.
