ARE YOU OUR NEW WELFARE OFFICER?

ARE YOU OUR NEW WELFARE OFFICER?

Simon Anderson3 Mar - 14:42

You certainly could be – Sarah is handing over the baton. Volunteer and seize it now!

Our Welfare Officer, Sarah, will be leaving the committee in June after several years in the role. We need a new volunteer to please take on this role from June (our AGM).

As Welfare Officer, you would work with each of the managers to ensure all safeguarding qualifications are in place for each coach/volunteer on our different teams. You also act as a point of contact for all members/coaches should a safeguarding issue arise. You are supported by the rest of the committee, and would also contribute to committee decisions.

There is a little more detail at this link here.

If you would be interested in taking on this role or would like more information, please e-mail: welfare@bsjfc.co.uk

Please note, it is essential that a volunteer comes forward. The club is not able to continue without an appointed welfare officer. We are entirely run as a voluntary organisation and rely on members volunteering to continue each season.

Thanks so much for giving this your consideration and the club your continued support.
